Major Purpose

Reporting to the Federation’s Chief Development Officer, The Senior Director, Capacity and Sector Development (SD) leads the design and development of a scalable one-stop shop for delivering enabling knowledge and capacity building, funding/financing and partnership brokering. In doing so, and through the identification of gaps including policy needs and opportunities, the municipal sector can take meaningful, sound, and impactful action on FCM and Federal priority issues, including gender equality, social inclusion, reconciliation, systemic racism, affordable housing, and local economic development.
